PURPOSE:To make the exchange of data easier and more efficient by mutually combining/separating plural packets, and transmitting them through a network as the variable length data. CONSTITUTION:In a data flow computer obtained by combining a program storing part 1, an external memory 3, an arithmetic part 2, etc., into a loop by a network 4, a packet combining means and a packet separating means are provided, prescribed pieces of the packets are successively combined to the basic packets by the former means, a combination display flag is hoisted at the combined packets to obtain a single combined packet, on the other side, the prescribed pieces of the packets are successively separated from the combined packets by the latter means. Further the combinastion display flag of the separated packets is lowered, and the suitable pieces of the combined/ separated packets are made into units, and they are transmitted through the network. Thus, by a single packet transmission/reception by means of a single token, the data can be efficiently and easily exchanged without a time loss. |
