PURPOSE:To prevent a welded portion between a frame body and a lower frame side plate from corroding by providing a member which covers the welded portion of the end of the body and the frame side plate. CONSTITUTION:Opposite load side and load side covers 31, 44 are extended to the center side of a frame 1 over the welded portion of the end of a frame body 1 and upper and lower frame side plates 3, 4 to seal external liquid at sealing rings 39, 45 having the side covers 31, 44 at a base material portion affected by the welding. Thus, since the sensitive portion due to welding heat can be separated from corrosive liquid, the corrosion of this portion is not proceeded quickly, and a canned motor can be used in a field for handling sea water. |
