<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a paper conveying device which can easily remove and collect paper dust, etc., by projectingly providing fibers which are slidingly brought into contact with a sheet of paper, in a helical condition on the peripheral face of a roller. CONSTITUTION:A sheet of paper which is sent in the arrow A direction by means of first conveying rollers 13, 14 is guided between the fibers 22 of a cleaning roller 20 and the trapezoidal projecting portion 24 of a guide plate 11 on the downside by means of a paper retainer guide 25 and, by passing through between them, it is conveyed by means of second conveying rollers 15, 16 and detected by an optical sensor 27. When a clutch is operated by the detecting signal, the cleaning roller 20 is rotated counterclockwise to scratch off the paper dust, etc., on the sheet of paper by means of the fibers 22. Since the fibers 22 are provided in a group in a helical condition around a shaft core 21, the paper dust, etc., is sent to the arrow B direction while being scratched off accompanying the rotation of the cleaning roller 20 to be collected into a dust collector 26.</p> |
