PURPOSE:To obtain the nonaqueous repair material capable of imparting a dense repaired structure in a short time by wetting a small-lump nonaqueous repair material consisting of a refractory aggregate and a carbonaceous material with a liq. binder, and then sprinkling the whole surface with refractory powder. CONSTITUTION:The small-lump nonaqueous repair material consisting essentially of a refractory aggregate and a carbonaceous resin is wetted with a liq. binder, and then the whole surface is sprinkled with refractory powder to obtain the desired repair material. Natural paste, synthetic resin, bitumen, silicate, sulfate, chloride, borate, paraffins, mineral oil, alcohols, etc., are exemplified as the liq. binder. The refractory powder to be deposited on the surface of the repair material is selected from magnesia, calcia, spinel, alumina, silica, zirconia, clay, slaked lime, etc. When the refractory fine powder is directly deposited, silica sol, alumina sol, slurry refractories, etc., are preferably applied. |
