PURPOSE:To obtain the title recording device free from the aslant traveling of a belt with the simple mechanism by permitting the drive of a head in the normal and reverse directions. CONSTITUTION:A belt motor 8 and an electrifying device 12b are turned ON, and a recording paper is introduced into between the electrifying device 12b, press-attached onto a belt 6 by a pinch roller 11a. Each color recording is carried out from the time point when the top edge of the recording paper reaches each recording head, and the recording paper on which recording is completed is curvature-separated from the belt at the position of a bet driving roller 7, and discharged into a paper discharge tray 18, and after the completion of paper discharge, the belt motor 8 is turned OFF, and also the electrifying device 12b is turned OFF. The state of the belt 6 is detected by photosensors 39a and 39b, and if normality is judged, the processing is continued, while if aslant traveling is detected, the reverse drive of the belt motor 8 is carried out until the belt 6 restores the normal state. |
