PURPOSE:To provide the subject sheet not generating any poisonous and corrosive hydrogen halide gas, reduced in the generation of smoke and having excellent heat resistance by molding a composition comprising a polyolefin, a metal hydrate and a foaming agent and subsequently thermally foaming the molded product. CONSTITUTION:A composition prepared by adding a metal hydrate (e.g. aluminum hydroxide), a foaming agent (e.g. azodicarbonamide) and preferably further a fire retardant auxiliary (preferably <=10mu diameter red phosphorus particles coated with a melamine resin, etc.) to a polyolefin (e.g. PE, PP or polybutene-1) is molded into a sheet and subsequently thermally foamed to provide the objective sheet. |
