PURPOSE:To execute observation with high accuracy and exactly by use of an endoscope, by leading color component light which is different alternately by time, to an incident terminal by an optical reflecting device and an optical deflecting device, and executing the surface sequential image pickup. CONSTITUTION:Light from a white light source 13 is made incident through a condenser lens 14, a rocking mirror 15, a near infrared light cut reflector 16, and dichroic mirrors 17-19. The mirrors 17-19 are placed at some different angles in the lengthwise direction of a light guide 11 or against the optical axis. In this state, when the mirror 15 is rocked by a mechanical mechanism, etc., a blue reflected ray from the mirror 17 is shifted from an incident terminal 12, and instead of said ray, a luminous flux from the mirror 18 of a red reflected ray is made incident to the incident terminal 12. Subsequently, green component light from the mirror 19 is reflected, and is made incident to the incident terminl 12. In this way, when the mirror 15 rocks, tri-color component light of blue, red and green is made incident alternately by time, to the incident terminal 12 of the light guide 11, and a body to be tested is illuminated by output light from the output terminal of the guide 11. |
