PURPOSE:To paint a complicate graphic form solid effectively by generating a solid painting mask pattern, ANDing this pattern with a desired solid painting pattern and writing the resulting data in a dot memory, and performing a solid painting process. CONSTITUTION:Start/end point coordinate address information on each frame line is fetched from a data buffer 1 to perform solid painting in a solid painting mask pattern write memory 3, specifying a working range 100. Then, frame lines are written in the memory 3 on the basis of the start/end point coordinate address information and the part within the frame line range is painted solid with black information to generate a mask pattern 5. The frame lines are written in a dot memory 4 as well on the basis of the start/end coordinate address information. Lastly, solid-painting pattern information is read out of the buffer 1 and the result of ANDing between the pattern 5 stored in the memory 3 and solid painting information is written in the frame line area in the memory 4. Thus, a desired solid painting process result pattern 6 is formed in the memory 4. |
