PURPOSE:To easily produce a tubular or pipe-shaft-like plastic product with projected and recessed pattern at low cost without necessitating the use of a mold or a stamping stand by a method wherein the projected and recessed pattern is generated by bringing fiber material into rolling contact with the thermally melted surface of a tubular or pipe-shaft-like product main body. CONSTITUTION:A lipstick container 1 is produced by injecting ABS resin at 220 deg.C. Next, projected and recessed pattern is generated on said product main body. As a band-like fiber material 8, coiled nylon rib-stop taffeta is used and spread between a stamping stand 3 and a running stand 6 and put under tension with pinch rollers 8c. The stamping stand consisting of an aluminum plate, in which two resistance heating elements 13 are built and on the surface of which a heat resistant rubber plate 32 having a thickness of about 5mm is pasted, is used. The product main body is applied by the pressure of about 4kg/cm<2> for 3 seconds by lowering the stamping stand, the surface temperature of which is held at 240 deg.C, under the state being supported with a pivot shaft 7 having the same cross-section as that of the product main body and, under the above-mentioned conditions, a runner is put into actuation so as to turn the product main body by 360 deg.C. |
