PURPOSE:To permit attendant in an optional number to execute the common work of a conference or the like through the use of a computer such as a work station connected to a network by permitting respective objective programs to control two logical communication lines and to share one logical communication line between two adjacent objective programs in order. CONSTITUTION:When the temporary reception logical communication line identifier 250 of a connection table 235 is checked and when a temporary logical communication line exists, the attribute of a reception logical communication line is altered, and it is converted into a transmission logical communication line. Then, the logical communication line which the temporary reception logical communication line identifier 250 indicates is converted into the reception logical communication line, the result of the operation is reflected on the table 235, and a value which has been set in the identifier 250 is eliminated. When the temporary reception logical communication line does not exist in a logical communication line transmission direction inverted module, an instruction concerned is transmission to the program for a transmission destination and the transmission attribute of the transmission logical communication line concerned is altered to the reception attribute. When a person issuing the instruction concerned is the program for himself, the value of the transmission logical communication line identifier 240 is stored in the identifier 250, and the value of a program identifier for transmission destination 255, and the value of a program identifier for reception destination 260 are substituted.
