PURPOSE:To obtain a composition improved in molding processability without causing whitening and lamellar debonding for the molded products thereof by incorporating a polyphenylene ether resin with a sulfonate compound and ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic ester copolymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) a total of 100 pts.wt. of A1: 20-100 pts.wt. of a polyphenylene ether resin, pref. poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene)ether and A2: 0-80 pts.wt. of a polystyrene resin with (B) 0.05-5 (pref. 0.5-4) pts.wt. of a sulfonate compound of the formula (R is 8-28C alkyl or aralkyl, pref. 12-20C alkyl; M is alkall metal, pref. Na) and (C) 0.1-10 (pref. 0.1-5) pts.wt. of an ethylene-unsaturated ester copolymer (pref. ethylene-ethyl acrylate). |
