PURPOSE:To obtain an effective ink communicating state by inserting a recording head body into a supply port at the time of coupling a coupling member upon operation of mounting, and providing a recording liquid communicating tube for bringing the inlet of recording liquid into pressure contact with an absorber. CONSTITUTION:A communicating tube 109 protruding from the supply tank 104 of a head element 100 through a base plate 106 can be entered into the interior through the supply port 120 of an ink tank 110. When the head element 100 is connected to the ink tank 110, the head element 100 is mounted on the ink tank 110 in a direction indicated by an arrow. ln this case, the wall 117A of the ink tank 110 is pushed to be extended to the outside, and the communicating tube 109 is inserted into the supply port 120. When a protrusion 107 and an opening 117 are completely opposed, the wall 117A is returned to its home position by its spring properties, the protrusion 107 is inserted into the opening 117 to obtain a mounting state. A state that the inlet of the end of the communicating tube 109 is brought into pressure contact with the absorber 112 to obtain a desirably ink communication. |
