The circuit which safely controls a fan heater by compensating the decision error of the oxygen deficiency comprises a flame detection circuit (9) for detecting the voltage of a flame rod, a semiconductor position detector (7) for detecting the flame rod position with the input wave passed a reflection plate and a lens, a current-voltage converter (10) for converting the output current of the semiconductor position detector into the voltage, and a microprocessor (8) for detecting the flame rod position according to the oxygen deficiency and for compensating the voltage of the flame rod.
