Characteristics are measured of a sample based on its electrical properties. Firstly, an easily absorbing soln. material is impregnated with the sample which is obtd. from an object to be measured. The soln. material is chemically stabilized, flexible and emanates no interferential ingredient against the object to be measured. Finally, the soln. material is physically contacted with a measuring portion of a sheet-type ion-concn. device (I) for measuring the characteristics. Device (I) has an electrode which is formed in part by an ion-responsive membrane, and also has a reference electrode. Both electrodes lie in the same plane for placement of the soln. material between them. |
