A COLOR ELECTRO GRAPHY METHOD

Several sequential electrophotographic steps are used to produce a number color toner images of different colours each including forming an electrosatic latent image on a photoconductor layer having electostatic capacitance of 170 pF/cm2 or less. A thin layer of toner is put on a toner carrier, the surface being situated to oppose the surface of the photoconductor layer with a predetermined gap not to make touching of both the surfaces. Accumulated toner images on the photoconductor are transferred onto a recording medium at one time. The transferred accumulated toner images are then set on the recording medium. The colour electrographic method prevents potential lowering of photoconductor at toner deposition.
