The device has functions of postioning of movable manuscript station, vibration absorbing on moving, safety cleaning of optical system. The device includes movable manuscript station (2) for loading manuscript; accepter (3b) for setting (2) on scanning start position, which is connected to stopper columm (4); stopper member (3) with elastic stopping piece to stop (2); braking column (6) at copier body (1): auxiliary member for recessing stopper column (4) when front cover (16) opens.
