At the time of pouring molten metal into tundish, the driving time of plate for preventing vortex generation, located on nozzle inlet of tundish and connected to converter and process computer, is detected by comparator comparing the weight of the poured molten metal measured by load cell with the determined weight being based on the generating point of vortex.
