PURPOSE:To simplify constitution and to reduce the number of parts by holding a recovery bottle so as to reverse its rocking direction whether waste toner is less than or more than a previously set amount and detecting the rocking state. CONSTITUTION:The waste toner recovery device is composed of the freely detachable recovery bottle 11 which accumulates waste toner, a bottle holding member 21 which holds the recovery bottle 11 rockably and has a placing part and a side wall part 122, and a microswitch 13 used as a detector detecting the rocking state of the recovery bottle 11. The direction of an overall moment is set to reverse whether the contained waste toner is less or more than the prescribed amount. Thus, the constitution is simplified to obtain a reliable, miniaturized recovery device. |
