<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an article from being erroneously conveyed, and to smoothly make an automatic crawler run by detecting the presence and absence of the article in a station and the condition of a moving process by means of a sensor, and transmitting the information to the automatic crawler when the automatic crawler arrives at the station. CONSTITUTION:An article 3 is loaded at the output port of a buffer storage in an automatic crawler running system, and supplied to an article exchange part 7A of a station conveyer 7 provided in a station 5, and the article 3 is delivered as a load to a next process in the article exchange part 7A. Information exchange means, where transmission equipment 21 and receiving equipment 22 are mounted, are provided at an automatic crawler 1 and the article exchange part 7A, and when the tip of a flexible arm 11 of a sensor 10 provided at the receiving equipment 22 touches the article 3, the presence and absence of the article 3 and moving process to the article exchange part 7A are detected. When the automatic crawler 1 arrives at the station 5, the information detected by the sensor 10 is exchanged between the automatic crawler 1 and the article exchange part 7A by an information exchange means 20.</p> |
