PURPOSE: To accurately align a cable into a cable tray and hold it in an aligned state by rotating a rod means to position the edge of the cable inserted between the rod means and a positioning means for holding it in place while the cable tray is translated. CONSTITUTION: A rod means 41 is rotatably mounted almost in parallel to a flat positioning means 50 almost perpendicular to the moving direction of a cable 49 and spaced apart from the flat positioning means 50, enough to accept the thickness of the cable 49 and engage the load means 41 with the surface of the cable 49. When the rod means 41 is rotated, the terminal edge of the cable 49 inserted between the rod means 41 and the flat positioning means 50 is accurately moved forward, positioned and then held in place while a cable tray 20 is translated. In this way, the cable 49 is accurately aligned into the cable tray 20 and held in an aligned state. |
