PURPOSE:To improve abrasion resistance, grip ability and the like by making reinforcement differ in structures of carcasses and a reinforcing layers on side parts of a tire for motor sports, while dividing a tread in two parts in lateral direction of the tire and providing different character of rubber substance to respective ones. CONSTITUTION:First and second reinforcing layers 21, 22 composed of steel cords both coated with rubber are provided on one side of a tire, and respective reinforcing layers 21, 22 are made to extend over the maximum width position S of the tire. Also, on the other side of the tire, a third reinforcing layer 23 composed of Kepler cord coated with rubber is similarly provided. The tread 16 is divided in two parts by making the division position 16a in lateral direction as boundary, rubber hardness of one side, the first tread 16A, is made lower than rubber hardness of the other side, the second tread 16B, in less than 6 deg., and still the value divided tangamma of rubber of the first tread 16A with tangamma of rubber of the second tread 16B is made to be in a range of 0.78-0.99. |
