PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of a stacked cell assembly job by forming sharpened edges in the peripheries of a separator and an electrode plate, by positioning the separators electrode plates and end blocks in a mold, then by injecting molten resin into the mold. CONSTITUTION:Separators 5 and electrode plates 1 each of which has a sharpened edge A in its periphery are alternately stacked and positioned within molds 15, 16, then end blocks 9 are arranged to both ends. Adequate compression pressure is applied to the separators 5 and electrode plates 1 with the end blocks 9, and resin B is injected into the stacked surface for injection molding. By this resin B, sharpened edges A are melted, the resin B is bonded to the periphery of the separators 5 and electrode plates 1, and electrolyte leakage is prevented. Efficiency in cell assembly is enhanced. |
