PURPOSE:To photograph an object by securely achieving automatic release when photographic data obtained from the object is changed. CONSTITUTION:An autofocus AF circuit 8 exchanges range-finding data, obtained by measuring a distance from a camera to the object, with a main CPU 2; the AE circuit 10 of an automatic exposure mechanism exchanges metering data, obtained by measuring the brightness of the object, with the main CPU 2. Initial photographic data is given, and the autofocus mechanism 8 is actuated for every precribed time to obtain intermittent photographic data, which is compared with the initial photographic data; release is not performed when it has the same value as the initial data; and release is performed when the range-finding data after the prescribed time is different from the initial photographic data. Thus, automatic photographing can be achieved. |
