PURPOSE:To enhance vibration resistance and shock resistance and to increase generating power by installing a plurality of first reinforcing members on the outer side of a cover and a plurality of second reinforcing members in the inner parts corresponding to the first reinforcing members of the cover. CONSTITUTION:Electrically separated first and second terminals 14, 15 connected to an electrode group consisting of a nickel electrode 11, a cadmium electrode 12, and a separator 18 are installed in a cover 13 of a container 13. A plurality of first reinforcing members 16 arranged on the outer side of the cover so as to reinforce the terminals 14, 15 and a plurality of second reinforcing members 17 arranged in the inner parts corresponding to the first reinforcing members of the cover 13 and interposed between the electrode group and the cover 13 are installed. Vibration and shock from the outside are applied to the second reinforcing members 17 and the cover 13, and the first reinforcing member 16 prevents the deformation of the cover 13. Vibration resistance and shock resistance are enhanced and generating power is increased. |
