PURPOSE:To operate a relay to be quickly turned ON and enable an engine to be restarted in a short time, by controlling the voltage, charged to the capacitor of a timer controlling the relay, to be synchronized with the temperature of a glow plug at reconduction of an electric current in the relay immediately after an unsuccesful start of the engine. CONSTITUTION:A timer controlling a relay 1 for feeding a large electric current to a glow plug G, voltage detector circuit 10 both detecting the voltage of a terminal in the power supply side of the glow plug G and controlling a relay 2 for electric conduction flowing a current in the glow plug G through a current limiting resistor 3, and a discharging circuit, which limits the voltage charged to a capacitor for determining the time constant below a preset level, and provided. In this way, at reconduction of an electric current in the relay 1 immediately after unsuccessfully starting an engine, the voltage charged to the capacitor of the timer controlling the relay 1 can be synchronized with temperature of the glow plug G, and the relay 1 can be operated to be quickly turned ON at its reconduction with the restarting trial of the engine in a short period. |
