IGNITION SYSTEM FOR OIL BURNER

An ignition window is provided at an upper region of the outer cylinder of the wick receiving construction. A closing door tightly closes the igniition window, the closing door being movably arranged oppoiste to the ignition window. A door actuator operates the closing door. An actuation arm is to be pivotally movable. An ignition heater is mounted on the actuation arm, to be approachable to the ignition window. A connection operatively links the actuation arm to the door actuator to actuate the closing door in synchronism with the actuation arm. This opens the ignition window when the ignition heater is approached to the ignition window. An actuation regulator sets pivotal movement of the actuation arm within a predetermned range.
