In the case of a soil-working appliance with disc-shaped work instruments for breaking down large clods and for working-in plant remains, a scraper is proposed which extends to a point near the soil and is guided closely past the shaft. In this way a uniform scraping of adhering soil is achieved, the position of release of the adhering soil lying very deep compared to known scrapers. The prongs (tines) ensure a simple construction and additional soil-working in the form of crumbling between the disc-shaped work instruments. The soil-working device can be manufactured very quickly and inexpensively.
