A seat arrangement for a railway wagon proposes that in each case two rows of individual seats (16) arranged one behind the other be arranged one on top of the other on each side of the central gangway (13). Each seat (16) is separated from each adjacent seat (16) by a separating wall (19). All the seats are screened from the central gangway (13) by side walls (22, 23) and a dividing wall provided with openings.
