In an arrangement for preventing pre- and post-dripping of fuel oil from the nozzle stock of fuel oil burners, in particular in burners with fuel oil preheating, having a solenoid valve arranged between the fuel oil tank and the nozzle stock, and a device for the return flow of fuel oil present at the nozzle stock into the fuel oil tank upon closure of the solenoid valve, provision is made, for reliable prevention of dripping, for a hydraulic pressure intensifier (9) having a differential piston (10) displaceable in leaktight fashion in two cylinder spaces (11, 12) of different diameter whose cylinder space (11) of smaller diameter is directly connected to the nozzle stock conduit (6) and whose cylinder space (12) of larger diameter is connected via a valve (17, 23) to the nozzle stock conduit (6) and via a throttling point (14) or a further valve (24, 25) to the tank return-flow conduit (15), and via a valve (20) to the fuel oil delivery conduit (4), and the differential piston (10) can be pushed, in the event of a build-up of pressure in the nozzle stock conduit (6), into the cylinder spaces (11, 12) counter to a restoring spring (18). <IMAGE>
