PURPOSE:To ensure the printing to both the roll type and sheet type printing papers, by interlocking with a switch lever which switches the printing state between the roll type and sheet type printing papers. CONSTITUTION:When a switch lever is turned counterclockwise, an upper cut part 25 is fitted to a projected part 28a of a stopper 28. Thus a toothless gear 24 is fixed temporarily at the part 28a. As a result, a gear 22 which turns a solenoid 13 is turned clockwise, and the solenoid 13 is turned by 90 deg. clockwise. Thus a hammer is set horizontally. In this case, a link lever 31 is moved down and can move only within a space 32a. In a vertical position, a pin 31 cannot move in the space 32a. As a result, a housing 10a of a printer is turned clockwise around a shaft 19 to increase the space formed between a type wheel 11 and the bottom plate 1b of an electronic calculator. Under such conditions, no contact is obtained between a type 12 and the printing paper 7 although the printing is carried out to the printing paper 7. |
