<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the color separation filter having an excellent color separating function by superposing a cyan light transmission filter layer on a blue light transmission filter layer or green light transmission filter layer. CONSTITUTION:The blue filter layer B, the green filter layer G and the red filter layer R are successively arranged on a transparent substrate 12 consisting of glass, etc., and further, the cyan filter layer C for transmission of cyan light is provided under the blue filter layer B and the green filter layer G to constitute the above-mentioned color separation filter. The cyan filter layer C has a prescribed spectroscopic transmission characteristic and, therefore, suppress the excess transmission characteristic which the layer intrinsically possesses in red-IR regions to an extremely low level. The excess transmission characteristic that the blue light transmission filter layer B or the green light transmission filter layer G possesses is lowered in this way without affecting the spectroscopic characteristic of the red light transmission filter layer R at all. The good color separating function is thus obtd.</p> |
