PURPOSE:To eliminate a drop of the output voltage which is caused by the voltage drop of a current detecting resistance, by detecting the saturation voltage of an FET for the detection of a current. CONSTITUTION:The current Ip of a DC power supply 1 flows to an FET5 through the primary side (p) of a transformer 2. An AC is produced at the primary side (s) of the transformer 2 by a switching action of the FET5 and then rectified by a rectifier 3 to be supplied to a load 4. The variation of the load current Is which is caused by the fluctuation of the load is detected by detecting the saturation voltage of the FET5 connected in series to the primary side (p) of the transformer 2 through the FET5. According to the result of this detection, the FET5 is switched to hold the current Is at a constant level. |
