PURPOSE:To synchronize the progress of a music with the progress of its lyric surely by storing lyric information in a 1st video memory, storing a window corresponding to the progress of the music to a 2nd video memory, synthesizing the signals with a video processor and displaying the result on a display device. CONSTITUTION:Lyric information and music information of 'KARAOKE' (music minus one) orchestration without lyrics sent from an external database are stored respectively in a 1st video memory and a music memory 5. The device is driven according to the memory content, a CPU 2 analyzes the content of the music information, processes it into a music signal, extracts the lyric information from the 1st video memory 3 and displays the content of the lyrics on a display device 8 through the video processor 7. Succeedingly, a color change signal is outputted in response to the extraction of the information from the music memory 5, the signal is received by an interface 6 and inputted to the CPU 2. In such a case, when the color of a character in a window and the background color are designated to be identical in the display of the display device 8, the lyric finished singing is sequentially erased. |
