PURPOSE: To enable display of a series of cine picture images at high resolution by providing a dynamic and video RAMs, and by using a pixel processor and DMA controller to transmit data. CONSTITUTION: A picture image processor B is provided with a main memory means 14 that stores digitized picture image data from a scanner means A, that selectively accesses to a data bus 12, and that is made applicable for the execution of either one of non-simultaneous reading and writing of accumulated digitized picture image, and a video memory means 16 that stores digitized picture image data, that selectively accesses to a data bus 12, and that is made applicable for the execution of either one of simultaneous and non-simultaneous reading and writing of accumulated data. Data transfer is executed via a picture element processor 10 or direct memory access(DMA) controller 22. With this, a low cost apparatus that can generate a high resolution medical purpose picture image can be obtained. |
