PURPOSE:To prevent the distinctness of formed character information from lowering by providing a heat shielding layer among an image carrier, a fixing means and a writing means. CONSTITUTION:A plate-like member 61 which is a layer for shielding heat generated from the fixing device 35, etc., is provided among the image carrier 12, the fixing means 35 and the writing means 60. The wind guiding plate 61 is linked to a cooling fan 10 from the lower end of the laser unit 60 and guides the heat generated from the ambient part of a photosensitive drum 12 and the fixing device 35, etc., to the cooling fan 10. By driving and rotating the cooling fan 10, the heat which passes through the wind guiding plate 61 to be guided is discharged to the outside of a device main body 11. Thus, a lens, etc., is kept from being deformed caused by the heat generated in the device and the distinctness of the formed character information is prevented from lowering. |
