PURPOSE:To obtain the subject fabric having a specific elongation and excellent feeling and physical properties by treating a woven fabric composed of spun rayon yarn as the warp and spun rayon yarn, filament yarn, etc., as the weft with a processing agent capable of forming a silicone rubber and with a resin finishing agent. CONSTITUTION:A woven fabric produced by using spun rayon yarn as the warp and spun rayon yarn, filament yarn or filament twisted union yarn as the weft is treated with (A) a silicone rubber-forming processing agent capable of forming a silicone rubber by heat treatment (e.g. organopolysiloxane prepolymer) in combination with (B) a resin finishing agent for textile (e.g. glyoxal resin) to obtain the objective rayon fabric having an elongation of 2-20% in warp direction, 8-35% in weft direction and >=10% in total of the weft and warp directions, excellent physical properties (i.e. improved water- blotting, slipperiness, shrinkage, etc.) and excellent feeling. |
