PURPOSE:To execute control efficiently by providing a sequence driver section with a means detecting the condition of each recording medium feed path, a means inputting information detected by said means into an image processing section, and a means controlling the selection of each recording medium feed path depending on the detected information. CONSTITUTION:Care should be taken not to select a feed path on the part of a sequence driver 50 based on judgement made from an independent stand point without going by way of a controller 40 even it is selectively designated by the controller 40 when a feed cassette is not inserted into the port of the feed path, or the feed path is jammed with forms. This permits receiving/ transmitting operations with the controller 40 to be reduced in number, thereby making it possible to execute effective control efficiently. |
