PURPOSE:To obtain a multilayer laminate excellent in heat-sealing properties, flavor barrier properties and mechanical strength by laminating a specific polyvinyl alcohol copolymer resin layer and a thermoplastic resin layer and using said copolymer resin layer as a heat seal layer at the time of the packing of an article. CONSTITUTION:At least one or more polyvinyl alcohol copolymer resin layer containing 1 - 50wt.% of ethylene obtained by a method wherein a vinyl acetate monomer and an ethylene monomer are subjected to emulsion polymerization in such a state that polyvinyl alcohol is present in an amount of at least 10% by wt. of the sum amount of polyvinyl alcohol and the vinyl acetate monomer and at least one or more layer composed of a thermoplastic resin are laminated to obtain a multilayer laminate. As the thermoplastic resin laminated to the polyvinyl alcohol copolymer resin layer, a polyethylene resin, a polypropylene resin, a polybutene resin, a polycarbonate resin and a polyamide resin are designated. At the time of the packing of an article, the polyvinyl alcohol copolymer resin layer is used as the innermost layer, that is, a heat seal layer. |
