PURPOSE:To allow switching of plural timbre variations with operation of an independent operating element by changing the combination of previously stored parameters and producing sounds in the envelope waveforms specified by the parameters after the change. CONSTITUTION:The select signal of a select switch 4 is coded by an SW encoder 5 and a switch on signal SWON and a coding timbre select signal LDATA are outputted to a timbre assignment number counter 6 and a latch 12. The counter 6 outputs the waveform number WNO by counting up or down the timbre assignment number preset in accordance with the depression of switches 8, 9 and the latch 12 outputs the envelope waveform number EGNO to specify the envelope waveform in accordance with the signal SWON and the signal LDATA. An envelope generator (EG) change number counter 7 outputs an envelope waveform change signal EGMY in accordance with the depression of the switches 10, 11. A musical tone synthesizing part 3 outputs the musical tones in accordance with these input signals. |
