Method for picking up and placing plant pots - has pots on tray gripped between two perpendicular horizontal conveyors moving in steps across tray

The method is for picking-up and putting down plant pots w.r.t. a ground surface. The pots are moved during operation by two conveyor belts between which the pots are gripped. The conveyors and the surface are placed horizontally w.r.t each other in two perpendicular directions. The pots and the tray in which they are contained are moved in the longitudinal direction of the tray in steps, while the conveyors are moved to and fro across the tray. There is a frame and drive mote driving the belts via a transmission system around guides and pulley wheels.
