PURPOSE:To shorten an examination time by providing a means for detecting the max. blood flow velocity from the analytical result of a frequency analyzing means at each time when a range gate is moved and a means for setting the range gate at the range gate position at the time of the detection of the max. blood flow velocity. CONSTITUTION:The detection output of a max. blood flow velocity detection means 20 for detecting the max. blood flow velocity from the output of a frequency analyser 10 is taken in a controller 14 having a range gate moving means and a range gate setting means. Range gate moving data is transmitted to a CPU 19 and the range gate mark 22 on the display picture of a display apparatus 25 is moved under the control of the CPU 19. A range gate setting means transmits the range gate position data at the time of the detection of the max. blood flow velocity due to the max. blood flow velocity detection means 20 to the CPU 19 and automatically sets a range gate at the position concerned. When the range gate is set, the FFT processing of Doppler deviation frequency is performed by the frequency analyser 10 and the processing result is displayed on a display apparatus 15 under the control of a display control circuit 13. A blood flow pattern 25 is displayed by this method. |
