PURPOSE:To easily obtain the execution time of a control program without permitting a controller to execute the control program by reading the execution time of a control symbol which is used for the control program from a storage means for summing up the result. CONSTITUTION:The storage means 17 storing the execution time at every control symbol and a means 11 which reads the execution time of the control symbol used for the control program from the storage means 17, which executes adding up and which obtains and displays the execution time of the control program are installed. Namely, the execution time at every control symbol for programming for control is stored in the storage means 17. Then, the execution time used for the control program is read from the storage means 17, the execution time is added up, and the execution time of said control program is obtained and displayed. Thus, the execution time can easily be obtained without executing the generated control program in the controller.
