Procedure and corresponding installation for the assembly and packing of television receiver apparatuses. It consists in providing the CRT 1 and the cabinet 5 face down on some circulating platforms 4, 9 to each of two assembly lines 3, 8; completing the CRT with the appropriate accessories; transporting the completed CRT to an upper level 17 and crossing it over the line of cabinets 8; picking up the CRT by means of mechanical- pneumatic devices and lowering it, placing it within the cabinet 5; fixing the CRT to the cabinet and installing on same the general parts; turning over each semi- assembled apparatus, locating it in an upright position 23 on some platforms 14 of an assembly line of apparatuses 28; installing in it the general circuit and completing it with the remaining parts; transporting the apparatus to the soak line 32, to a testing and adjustment line, to a wrapping machine, placing it in the corresponding box, stapling it and passing it to a storage line. <IMAGE>
