Dihydro-imidazopyrrolo-pyridine derivs. of formula (I) and, when R1 and R2 are different, their optical isomers, are prepd. In (I), R1 and R2 are each C1-3 alkyl or cyclopropyl, or together they complete C3-6 cycloalkyl, opt. substd. by Me; X= H, halo or Me; Y and Z each = H, halo, C1-6 alkyl or alkoxy, C1-4 hydroxy- or haloalkyl, C1-4 alkylthio, phenoxy, etc.; W= O or S; A = H, OH, C3-6 alkenyloxy, C3-6 alkynyloxy, C1-6 alkylthio, etc. (I) are useful as herbicides. |
