PURPOSE:To record and reproduce an image signal due to standard TV scanning by mounting a writing control means for controlling the writing only of an image signal to be renewed among image signals of a frame unit, a speed memory means for storing the taking-in speed of the image signal and a reading control means outputting the image signal at a speed almost same to said taking-in speed. CONSTITUTION:An image memory apparatus 70 has an A/D converter 71, a frame memory 72 and a D/A converter 73 and also has a writing frame counter 74 for controlling the writing only of an image signal to be renewed among image signals of a frame unit. Further, said apparatus 70 has a speed register 76 as an image signal writing speed memory means to store the writing speed m(N-1) of the image signal. Herein, m is the number of taken-in image lines and (N-1) is the number of written image lines (the number of frames) and the taking-in speed of the image signal is set to m.T1 and T1 is set to a value twice the period TVD of a VD signal. The speed register 76 determines an integer (l) near to m/(N-1) at the time of reproduction and reads l.T1 to output the same to a frame counter 77. |
