PURPOSE:To improve the absorbency and retainability of an electrolyte by making a separator with a mixture of fibers in which polyolefin having a hydroxy group exists on the surface of the core fiber, fibers in which polyolefin having an amide group exists on the surface of the core fiber, and synthetic pulp by a paper making process. CONSTITUTION:A separator is made with a mixture of fibers in which polyolefin having a hydroxy group exists on the surface of the core fiber, fibers in which polyolefin having an amide group exists on the surface of the core fiber, and synthetic pulp by a paper making process. The mixture is formed with 30-90wt.% fibers in which polyolefin having a hydroxy group exists on the surface of the core fiber, 5-65wt.% fibers in which polyolefin having an amide group exists on the surface of the core fiber, and 2-30wt.% synthetic pulp. The absorbency and retainability of an electrolyte are improved. |
