PURPOSE:To improve a photoelectric converting efficiency and to decrease optical deterioration of an a-Si layer in comparison with conventional film solar cells by providing a photoelectric converting element on one face of an achromatic and transparent polyimide film substrate, that has been treated with plasma. CONSTITUTION:A polyimide film 1 used as a substrate should be an achromatic and trasparent one for the purpose of improving conversion efficiency of a photoelectric converting element and a thickness thereof is adjusted in a range from 10 to 100mum. Among achromatic and transparent polyimide films, preferably used is a film which presents a total transmittance of 80% or more and a yellowness index of 25 or less when it has a thickness of 50mum. Such achromatic and transparent polyimide film may be principally composed of polyimide having a repeated unit represented by the general formula (1). Such polyimide can be obtained typically from a reaction between aromatic tetracarbonic acid dianhydride and aromatic diamine. |
