PURPOSE:To always and automatically gather the latest log information for recovery through the file capacity of some extent by preparing two pieces of files to take the alteration log of a table in a data base, and taking the log information by using them alternately. CONSTITUTION:Two pieces of Audit files 1, 2 for log information gathering are prepared, and the log information is taken by using these two files 1, 2 alternately. Namely, when the capacity of one Audit file exceeds some definite capacity, the gathering of the latest log information is repeated alternately in such a way that the copy of a data file at that point of time is generated in the other Audit file and the log information is taken again similarly. Thus, the log information for executing the recovery at the time of the fault of the data file is gathered automatically. |
