MUSICAL TONE SIGNAL SYNTHESIZER

PURPOSE:To control many frequency components with simple constitution by converting the address values of input phase address signals at every section by the functions set discretely for each of the respective phase sections and making access to a waveform table. CONSTITUTION:An address converting part 72 of a 2nd musical tone signal generating circuit 14 divides the phase within one period to plural sections and respectively converts the address values of the output phase address signals of an adder 68 for each of the respective sections according to the functions set discretely for each of the sections. The waveform table linear 71 in which the waveform data of the prescribed waveform functions are stored in linear expression is accessed by the output of this address converting part 72. The prescribed waveform functions, for example, sine wave functions stored in the waveform table 71 and the waveform data of the waveform functions different therefrom are eventually outputted from the waveform data 71 in response with the phase address signals in this way. The musical tone signals including the many frequency components are thus synthesized by the modulation computation with the relatively simple constitution.
