<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently input data by switching dynamically a key map at every data input area, and shaping the disorder of a format which follows up the insertion and the deletion of a character. CONSTITUTION:When a key input is executed, a processing part 16 refers to a current key map 15, and executes a processing, based on the position of a cursor and the kind of a depressed key. When the depressed key is a character, its character is inserted into the position of a cursor, and when the depressed key is a deletion key, a character immediately before the position of the cursor is deleted. In this case, in accordance with the kind of a data input area 11 and the position of the cursor, the processing method is changed so that a character in a guidance area is not shifted. When the depressed key is a cursor moving key, the cursor is moved, and as a result, when the cursor is positioned in a different data input area, it is outputted to a key map switching part 13. Subsequently, from a key map group 14, a key map corresponding to its data input area is selected and set to a current key map 15.</p> |
